A community paint-out arranged by ARTS to fill the wall on Topete with images of Saints was an outstanding success. About 30 artists, assisted by approximately the same number of children from the Palapa Society Arts program and others from the community, worked through the morning with enthusiasm and enjoyment to create a set of images that reflects the variety of talents and styles within Todos Santos.
Thanks are due to the following people and businesses that sponsored this event - Miguel and Erika at Sherwyn Williams Paint and Accessories on Zaragoza, Rodrigo Guluarte at Romex, Comex and Mercado Guluarte. The police did a fine job of maintaining a safe environment for everyone, and volunteers, including members of the Palapa Society helped enormously with logistics. "Meet the Artist" series of talks and demos

"Meet the Artist" is the first set of art events in Todos Santos arranged by ARTS, introducing some of the local artists currently on show at "Visions" gallery at Cafelix, and other notable local artists. Each artist will talk about the process and techniques they use in their work, and may illustrate this with short demos. Each event takes place at Cafelix, and starts at 5:30 pm, and is expected to last an hour. (NOTE REVISED TIME from that communicated earlier)
